Arrangements covering all aspects of the land of oil from the Ekofiskfield in the United Kingdom are set out in the agreement between the United Kingdom and Norweigan Governments signed in Oslo on 22nd May 1973 (Cmnd. 5423). Where an activity within these arrangements is liable to United Kingdom tax, the charge will be at the normal rates.
