asked the Secretary of State for Employment what proposals he has to harmonize the salary scales operating within the respective training boards.

None. The terms and conditions of employment of training board staff become subject to my right hon. Friend's approval with the consent of the Minister for the Civil Service on 1st April 1975. In exercising this control they will have full regard to the desirability of movement of staff between boards and their industries.
