§ The Prime MinisterI would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave on 14th May to the hon. Member for Rosendale (Mr. Bray).—[Vol 873, c. 410.] Since then, I have met a deputation from the Institution of Professional Civil Servants to discuss the pay of Civil Service scientists on 17th May and representatives of the staff side of the Nurses' and Mid-wives' Whitley Council to discuss nurses' pay on 20th May. I also addressed the Annual Conference of the General and Municipal Workers Union in Black pool on 6th June.
