asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the difference between the grant which would have been received by Dorset County Council in accordance with the regulations that prevailed on 28th February 1974 and the amount which Dorset County Council will receive following the subsequent decision taken by him.

There is no difference in the grant of £17,131,000 payable to Dorset County Council.
