HC Deb 03 June 1974 vol 874 c381W
Mrs. Dunwoody

asked the Chairman of the Select Committee on House of Commons (Services) if he is satisfied with the performance of the new kitchen equipment in the House of Commons kitchens, particularly in view of the difficulties being experienced in the preparation of meals.

Mr. Dunn

I have been asked to reply.

No, I am not satisfied. I have been made aware of this situation. Every effort to remedy the situation has so far failed. I have requested the assistance of the Secretary of State for the Environment to expedite the necessary remedial work as a matter of urgency.
