§ Mr. Roy JenkinsSuch compensation is already available under the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme. The Criminal Injuries Compensation Board has taken steps to advise the victims, and their parents in the case of the injured children, of their eligibility for compensation under the scheme, by approaching the London embassies whose nationals were injured as well as by making application forms available through the medical social worker at St. Bartholomew's Hospital. The board may at its discretion meet 593W any reasonable expenses incurred by the victims' relatives as a direct result, of the victims' injuries. The board's response to the tragedy was prompt and sympathetic.
