asked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will confirm that arrangements for supersonic overland corridors for Concorde services to Tokyo and Sydney are the sole responsibility of the Governments concerned; whether these corridors have yet been negotiated; and, if not, when it is expected that the negotiations will be complete.

Yes. Discussions on British Airways' chosen routes are in progress with the countries concerned, but as I explained to the hon. Member for Christchurch and Lymington (Mr. Adley) on 10th June—[Vol. 874, c. 1203–5]—it is not desirable to specify details of the discussions while they are proceeding.
