§ The Prime MinisterOne, the Royal Commission on the Press, which has 11 members, including the chairman. Their political views are their own and were not among the criteria for appointment. Two further Royal Commissions—on Standards of Conduct in Public Life and on the Distribution of Income and Wealth—have been announced but have not yet been formally established. The chairmen, respectively, will be Lord Salmon and Lord Diamond. It is not yet possible to give the estimated cost of these three commissions.
