§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will introduce legislation to amend Sections 9 and 10 of the Pipe-lines Act 1962 to apply the provisions for mandatory sharing of pipelines to the British sector of the Continental Shelf.
§ Mr. StrangThe report to Parliament on United Kingdom Offshore Oil and Gas Policy stated that the Government propose to take powers to control the development of undersea pipelines. These would include measures to ensure joint use of pipelines, in the same way as for land pipelines.
