§ Mr. Staintonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what representations he has received from United Kingdom farmers regarding an increase in sugar beet prices for 1974–75; and if he will adopt the EEC price level in order to maintain production of this crop.
§ Mr. BuchanThe National Farmers' Union has urged a substantial increase in the price for the 1975 crop. I nave at present nothing to add to the reply given to the right hon. Member for Cambridge. shire (Mr. Pym) on 11th July.
