§ Mr. Merlyn ReesSection 1 of and Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Constitution Act 1973 already provide that a poll may be held to determine whether the Northern Ireland electors wish Northern Ireland to remain part of the United Kingdom. No such poll may be held before 9th March 1983.
