§ Mr. Viggersasked the Minister for the Civil Service what would be the cost to the Exchequer of permitting temporary service prior to 14th July 1949 in the Civil Service to count in full for the purposes of calculation of pension.
§ Mr. Robert Sheldon£13 million a year declining to about £7 million a year by 1990. The recalculation of lump sums already paid to existing pensioners would cost a further £30 million.
