Mr. Sillars

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the number of male jobs in Scotland for each year between 1967 and 1973 inclusive.

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what was the ratio of the number of persons made redundant to the number of persons in employment in Scotland for each year between 1964 and the first quarter of 1974.

Redundancy figures for Scotland are not available for the period prior to 1965. For the period from 1965 on the ratios of persons notified as having been made redundant to the number of persons in employment in Scotland are:
