§ Mr. BoothAs I stated in reply to the hon. Member for Glasgow, Cathcart (Mr. Taylor) on 11th June 1974—[Vol. 874, c. 493.]—my right hon. Friend is considering the possibility of producing regional retail price indices, but it is not clear that the advantage of having separate indices for all regions would justify the considerable staff and other costs which would be involved.
