§ Mr. BishopEstimated figures published by the Government Statistical Service of the Department of Industry show that in 1973 ordinary white loaves and wholemeal bread accounted for 82 per cent. and 1.6 per cent. respectively of total household consumption of bread. Figures for wheat germ bread are not available.
