§ Mr. BishopThe cost of NAAS in its last year of operation, 1970–71, was £7.3 million and the cost of ADAS in its first year of operation, 1971–72, was £16.1 million. These figures, of course, are not comparable because ADAS includes a range of other professional and technical services which were not part of the NAAS.
