asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the maximum graduated national insurance pension a person retiring in October 1973 aged 65 could have received.

Mr. O'Malley

A man retiring on 31st October 1973 at age 65 who had paid graduated contributions at the maximum rate since the inception of the graduated pension scheme in 1961 would be entitled to a graduated pension of £1.45 a week.
