§ Mr. David Howellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what pension increase is available for those drawing the Over 80 pension on 1st July.
§ Mr. O'MalleyWith effect from the first pension pay day in the week commencing 22nd July 1974, the rate of old persons' pensions for those over 80 will be increased from £4.90 a week to £6.25. The rate for married women will be increased from £3.10 to £3.95. These rates include the 25p age allowance.
