asked the Secretary of State for Industry if he is now able to give details of his plans to nationalise the machine tool company of Marcus Kearney and Trecker Marwin; and if he will make a statement.

I assume that the hon. Member is referring to the proposed reorganisation of Kearney and Trecker Marwin Limited for which I am proposing to provide up to £3.5 million to a new holding company in which I would hold 50 per cent. of the equity.
