Mr. Goronwy Robertsasked the Secretary of State for Wales what representations he has received from local authorities and other organisations for the reinstatement of the ambulance service at Porthmadog, Caernarvonshire; and whether, in view of the concern felt locally, he will ensure that the service is restored.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasNone. Suspension of the service was a result of the pay dispute and I am happy to say that following agreement between the county council and the men they returned to full duties at all stations in Caernarvonshire yesterday.
