asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement about the raid carried out by the Royal Ulster Constabulary on the offices of the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association on Saturday 29th December.

Acting on information received a joint RUC/Army team inquiring into the disappearance of the honorary German Consul in Northern Ireland made a search of the premises occupied by the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association on 29th December 1973. Nothing was discovered to connect the association with Herr Niedermayer's disappearance.
