§ Mr. EmeryMy right hon. and noble Friend, and before that my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, have received a large number of representations from both industrial organisations and individual firms. The great majority have concerned particular problems of interpretation or application. The need for major economies in the use of electricity and the measures introduced to bring this about have been generally accepted by industry.
