§ Mr. Patrick JenkinThe stock position underlying the electricity industry's calculations was set out in the statement issued by the Minister for Industry on 1st January 1974. The present electricity restrictions are intended to ensure that the critical level of coal stocks will not be reached before the end of March 1974.
