§ Mr. Michael Cocksasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) if he will introduce legislation to make it obligatory that any estate agent or other person acting on behalf of a client approaching a person with a view to purchasing property informs the potential vendor of any development proposals affecting the area known to the agent and/or his client ;
(2) if he will introduce legislation to ensure that any estate agent or other person acting on behalf of a client discloses the name of the client to any person who is approached with a view to selling property.
