§ Mr. Ron Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he is aware that a number of persons employed at the Lakeland Laundry, Carlisle, are being made redundant in the near future; and if he will take steps to ensure that suitable alternative employment is available for these persons.
§ Mr. ScottMy Department's local officers are in touch with the firm and as soon as details of those to be made redundant are available every effort will be made to ensure that they secure suitable alternative employment.
