§ Mr. Russell Johnstonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will now consider proposing to the EEC Council of Ministers that the size of the European Development Fund should be increased and that moneys from the fund should be made available to all developing countries regardless of whether they have signed the Yaounde Convention.
§ Mr. WoodThe size of the next European Development Fund will be decided during the negotiations, now taking place in Brussels for a new Convention of Association. Britain has proposed that a separate fund should be set up to provide financial aid for developing countries not associated in the Community. This proposal is still being discussed.
