asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, for the removal of doubt, he will introduce a Bill to ensure that the Land Compensation Act provides for home loss payment where property is acquired by local authorities both for redevelopment and rehabilitation purposes.

No. The Act already provides for home loss payment where a person is displaced from a dwelling in consequence of compulsory acquisition for whatever purpose.
