§ Mr. PrenticeSalaries paid to teachers in maintained residential special schools in respect of normal teaching duties are calculated on an annual basis and cover school holidays as well as term time. Payment for other duties and responsibilities arising out of the special nature of these teachers' employment is a matter for local determination.
