asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many radiologists have resigned from the National Health Service in Scotland since 1st January 1974; and how many resigned in 1973.

In the first nine months of 1974 one consultant and two senior registrars in radiology resigned from the National Health Service in Scotland. During 1973 seven senior registrars resigned, four of whom took up hospital posts in England and Wales.

In the year ended 30th September 1973 the number of consultants in the specialty increased from 94 to 97 and the number of senior registrars from 20 to 25.
