§ Mr. William RossAt January 1974 there were 144 education authority nursery schools in Scotland. Comparable figures for 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 were 101, 109, 119 and 126 respectively. The number of children attending education authority nursery schools in each area at January 1974 is given in the table below:
