§ Mr. Gryllsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the amount of annual grant aid to be paid out of public funds towards the cost of running the bail hostel at the Lady Margaret Hall Settlement, Kennington Road, S.E.ll; and for how long the public money is committed.
Dr. SummerskiilThe whole of the running costs of the proposed bail hostel less the contributions by residents will be met out of public funds, in part by the Home Office and in part from local authority funds. This financial commitment will last for as long as the hostel remains approved.

§ Mr. Gryllsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will undertake not to admit accused people to the proposed bail house at the Lady Margaret Hall Settlement in Kennington Road, S.E.11, until agreement has been reached on the legal uncertainties over the objects clause of the memorandum and articles of association of the settlement between the settlement and its landlords, the Walcot Educational Trust.
