§ Mr. George Rodgersasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many occupational therapists are employed by each social services department in England; how many such employees work principally in day centres; how many are attached to social work teams; and if she will make a statement.
§ Mr. Alec JonesI regret that there are at present no reliable figures relating to numbers of occupational therapists employed in social services departments. Local authorities have, however, already been asked for the future to include specific information about occupational therapists in their returns of staffing statistics relating to 1974 and subsequent years.
