§ Mr. Snapeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will set up a rail advisory committee for London, to advise on major rail planning, as proposed by the "London Rail Study—Part One".
§ Mr. MulleyThe study's report recommended that the committee should be set up to advise both my right hon. Friend and the Greater London Council. Any decision to set up such a committee must, therefore, be a joint one and I shall need to discuss the recommendation with the council.
§ Mr. Snapeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will implement the proposals of the "London Rail Study —Part One"; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. MulleyAt present I have nothing to add to the reply which I gave my hon. Friend the Member for Islington, South and Finsbury (Mr. Cunningham) on 28th November.—[Vol. 882, c.248.]
