§ Mr. Pymasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement on his future long-term strategy for the agriculture industry and how he intends to achieve it.
§ Mr. PeartAs I made clear in the debate on 25th November, we are engaged in long-term talks with the industry. We have now received the views of the farmers' unions on priorities and a further meeting has been held this week. I hope to make the conclusions available when the discussions are completed, probably in association with the results of the 1975 annual review.
