HC Deb 30 April 1974 vol 872 c400W
20. Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many new jobs need to be created in Great Britain until 1976 to maintain full employment and achieve the Government's target for economic growth; and how many of these jobs would be in Wales and in Scotland, respectively.

Mr. Booth

As my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster indicated, the recent Budget was intended to initiate a policy of full employment and maximum growth. This applies to all parts of the country alike.
