§ Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, in view of the fact that some London assistant teachers are now paid less than their counterparts in Scotland, if he will take this into account when considering the report on the London allowance.
§ Mr. ArmstrongIt is difficult to compare directly teachers' pay on the two sides of the border. In considering the report of the Pay Board on London allowance the Government will take all relevant factors into account.
