asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he intends to improve the control of additives and impurities in hydrocarbon fuel oils in order to reduce health hazards.

Mr. Mulley

As soon as parliamentary time permits it is our intention to introduce legislation for the control of pollution, which will include powers to control the sulphur content of oil fuels and the composition of motor fuels.
