HC Deb 01 April 1974 vol 871 cc265-6W
Mr. Michael Morris

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will review the regulations relating to exemption of payment of vehicle excise duty, particularly the requirement that a vehicle must be conspicuously and permanently adapted, as this is precluding those in Northampton suffering from multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy from enjoying this exemption, and consider amendment.

Mr. Dell

Vehicle excise duty exemption for the disabled will be reconsidered against the background of Lady Sharp's Report.
