§ Mr. Ancramasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has considered the proposed road development on the A1 in East Lothian whereby Tranent will he bypassed; and what action he proposes to take.
§ Mr. William RossA scheme to provide a bypass of Tranent is in preparation but I cannot yet say when it will be possible for work to start.
