§ Mr. Gordon CampbellThe cost of the Royal Commission on Local Government in Scotland, as published in its report (Cmnd 4150), was £102,800. The Government are also making a contribution, estimated at £18,500, towards the cost of the report "The New Scottish Local Authorities (Organisation and Management Structures)" recently published for the Scottish local authority associations.
