§ Mr. Parryasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement on the recent visit of the Under-Secretary of State to Liverpool.
§ Mr. LaneThe visit was one of a series which I am making to assess the operation of the urban programme and to discuss community relations problems. I had useful talks with representatives of the local authority, and visited a selection of projects being supported under the urban programme. I was also glad of the opportunity to meet members of the Liverpool Community Relations Council.
