§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Committee on the Law of Contempt of Court is proceeding as a matter of urgency. It is not, at present, possible to say when it will report as it has had to consider further evidence in the light of the recent decision of the House of Lords in theSunday Times case. It is hoped that the Committee on the Law of Defamation will report early in the new year.
