§ Mrs. FennerThe Price Commission has a duty to ensure that food manufacturers' prices and the margins of food distributors are consistent with the price code and, following the recent reference, the commission will be keeping the prices of fresh foods under continuous review. In addition, the Government are taking action to hold down the price of liquid milk and to implement the general EEC subsidy on butter.
