§ Dame Irene Wardasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what financial assistance has been given from the European Economic Community towards the development of iron ore necessary for the steel complex on Tees-side.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantThe European Investment Bank signed an agreement with the British Steel Corporation on 31st October 1973 for a loan of £14.7 million at a rate of interest of 8½ per cent. 251W per annum towards the cost of new burden preparation facilities for the new integrated steel-making complex to be built at Teesside. These burden facilities include facilities for the preparation of iron ore.
