§ Mr. Sorefasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the number of citizens of the following countries who were admitted, for purposes of study, to the United Kingdom in each of the first three quarters of 1973 compared with the corresponding quarters of 1972, namely Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.
§ Mr. LaneStatistics for foreign students admitted before 1st January 1973 were not recorded as a separate category : neither are statistics for nationals of Bolivia and Uruguay separately recorded ; they are included under the110W classification "other American countries." The available figures are :
