I am asking the Chairman of the CEGB to send my hon. Friend such information as may be available about planned nuclear capacity over the succeeding four years. My right hon. Friend the Secretary 168W of State for Scotland will also ask the Chairman of the SSEB to write to my hon. Friend. I am advised by the UKAEA that the 250-MW prototype fast reactor at Dounreay should start to generate electricity next year.
