§ Mrs. ThatcherThe Fire Precautions Act 1971 is being applied by stages to various types of premises within its scope on the advice of the Central Fire Brigades' Advisory Councils for England and Wales and for Scotland. It has not yet been decided when the Act will be applied to schools.
