§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Minister for the Civil Service for what grades in the public service moneys are paid in respect of individual expenses without the need for the individual concerned to account for the expenditure in detail.
§ Mr. Kenneth BakerI have no information about the remainder of the public service, but so far as the Civil Service is concerned individual expenses incurred in the course of employment are reimbursed on the basis of specific itemised claims. Certain expenses such as those covered by motor mileage allowances or subsistence allowances are reimbursed at standard rates which are based on the average expenses incurred.
