§ Mr. Woofasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer now that he has received the report of the Committee on Children's Footwear, examining the relationship between footwear prices and foot abnormalities in children, what steps he is taking to encourage the footwear industry to co-operate in implementing the main findings of the report.
§ Mr. HigginsI would refer the hon. Member to my right hon. Friend's Budget Statement. The Government are considering the practicalities of the findings of the report of the Committee on Children's Footwear and until this review is complete it would be premature to consider further implementation.
