§ Mr. Woofasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many coal miners now receive benefit for the disease of pneumoconiosis and silicosis; and how many miners died from these diseases each year since 1969.
§ Mr. DeanAt 30th September 1971, the latest date for which figures are available, about 41,000 coal miners and former coal miners were receiving benefit for these diseases out of the Industrial Injuries Fund.
